Luna

This bride was looking for a grey dress but once we learned of her incredible work as an artist and photographer we knew we wanted to incorporate this into her gown. She had a fascination with the moon in all it’s phases and the night sky.

Sarah found a fabric that was reminiscent of the lunar surface and created curving orbits in the style lines. Her mother’s buttons ran down her back and layers of celestial colors hid under her skirt.

The finishing touch was the top layer of her skirt. Working in partnership with the bride, pearls were taken from her mother’s dress and sewn into the constellation of the night she met her fiancé. Look carefully and you might recognize the stars in her skirt.
