Ice Queen
/When Sarah got married, it was a snowy winter wedding, and her love of colored dresses had already been established. A blue, multi-layered dress faded to a white skirt with hints of sparkle and was heavily influenced by her fiancé’s input and the way it would fade into the snowy background. An incredible grey coat, which Christina had made for her thesis project was a perfect way to stay toasty. For the reception, the organza top including the bishop sleeves with buttons from her grandmother’s dress, was worn under a simple cowl neck slip dress. Christina made Jake’s vest, and he picked out his own skull and crossbones buttons. Bridesmaid’s carried antique muffs and the florals, including Sarah’s dramatic bridal branch were made by her best friend.
